Spirituality as a way of life.

Believing in a higher power and what it means to live a spiritual life.

“Spirituality” is one of those words that often gets lost in translation. I know this because in the past I would tell people “I’m not religious, I’m spiritual,” and I would get that ‘deer caught in headlights’ look. I chose this as one of my topics of interest when signing up for Medium and a lot of religious content came up. Don’t get me wrong, many of these articles are quite inspiring, but the fact remains that I do not consider myself to be religious. This doesn’t mean I cannot benefit from reading the Bible or any other religious content. I think it’s more about whatever speaks to you in the moment.

Often, the teacher may take a form that we may not be expecting. So, remaining open and not closed off is important. Allowing wisdom and insight to come from the most unexpected places is essential.
