The Veil of Illusion

We live beneath a veil of illusion, ignoring the transient nature of our existence. 

Clinging to circumstances, people, and things, desiring their permanence, and forgetting the ever-present element of change. Seeking a “forever,” an anchor we believe will provide lasting pleasure and satisfaction. 

We are attached to the idea that obtaining our desires will grant us lasting happiness. Believing we can “arrive” at a certain point that will offer ultimate fulfillment — whether it’s true love, the perfect family, a meaningful purpose, or ultimate success.
